Animal companions that you can train to make tougher, or feed them a certain combination of items to give them a power that they can only have 1 of at a time. Eg: An animal that is able to set enemies aflame upon hit, or one that can create an impassible 3x3 area around it that only you can stand in/ shoot arrows out of.

The need for water and water bottles, throwable blinding eggs( does 4.5 heats of damage) , and a miner helmet which provide light in dark places.

Egg bomb:  blank  tnt blank
tnt egg  tnt     = Makes 4 egg bombs
  blank tnt blank

Miner helmet: Diamond Glowsone Diamond
   Diamond  Glass    Diamond = Makes on helmet ( Same protection as two protection enchanted diamond helmet)

Sounds Good, but The Helm would be to expinsive, i would just make it an ordinary helm, Leather,Iron,gold or Dia, and just put glowstone at the top middle, like this

Actually pho, you are right and wrong. They do damage to the end dragon. The bow hits more but snowballs do work, but they're overall better for taking out the healers.

I would love to see more forms of energy. I think more influence should come from the tekkit mod pack. But nothing that would require me to drop my old world, or travel a certian distance. I think something as small as adding a solar pannel could make a huge impact on how minecraft is played.

We could do it now. I think it should require 7 iron blocks, 1 obsidian, and 1 glass. It would give unlimited power to furnaces during the day, and could be power could be transfered by redstone (probably some form of craftable thing like glass around redstone dust). It could also function as a day night clock. For instance redstone would be powered on during the day and off by night. So you could invert that and use it as a form of out door night lighting with a glowstone lamp, or have a defence mechinism that goes off during night, or your city walls close. The posibilities are endless.

I think he had the right idea with making it more expencive. We need more end game content. To be honest I have more iron and diamonds then I need. I stock them up, and build bigger projects and get more stuff. Jeb has the right idea with the the new bosses, and (semi expencive) anvils that need to be remade after many uses.

These were actually the original pistons. Notch took the idea of them and put them into 1.7
